My story
Hi, I'm Ashley.
I'm a Mexican-American model and creator from Central Texas, and this year I'm competing for the crown at Miss Mexico United States.
If I'm honest, this was never really about a sash. It's for every younger version of me who didn't believe she was allowed to take up this much space to want something this loudly and actually go get it.
So I do it out loud. The wins and the 3am doubts, the fittings that make me cry the good kind of tears, the early gym mornings and the late nights rehearsing interview answers. None of it is glamorous. All of it is mine.
